Whenever the name ‘Clarks‘ is mentioned it brings back lovely memories of shopping for school shoes as a child – it was the go-to place for quality long-lasting shoes. Fast forward over 20 years and I now find myself shopping in Clarks for my own children’s shoes.

We popped into Clarks a few weeks ago to shop for Eleanor’s first shoes however it seems her feet have a little more growing to do before she can slip them into any kind of soled shoe. Instead, we got her some adorable pram booties which Velcro around the back – I must admit, I’m kind of jealous they don’t do them in adult sizes!

Clarks have asked me to capture simple moments in life that bring us pleasure and share/celebrate them using the hashtag #ClarksMoments. For us, whatever we do at the weekends, even if we end up milling about the house, those times are precious. Life gets so busy and hectic most of the week that we often forget to just ‘be’ so these photo’s were taken on one of those rare weekends where we got to play out on our little ol’ decking. Eleanor has just started investigating the world around her picking up anything she can like a portable grabber – my favourite picture is the one of her discovering a dry leaf… moments later we had to remove it from her mouth!

You can also pop along to the official #ClarksMoments website where you browse more beautiful moments that have been captured throughout the world of Instagram/Twitter.
